Spread the love

There is no substitute for spending time with Christ Jesus. If we desire to be useful for the Master, we do not need formal education. The apostles were uneducated men but bold in their gospel witness (Acts 4:13). Though they were common men, they were used mightily by God because they had been with Jesus (Acts 4:13). Their education came from setting at the feet of the Master. They knew the Lord by spending time with Him. Time with Christ is what we need most. We don’t just need to know about Him; we need to know Him. Personal and experiential knowledge of the Lord comes through quality time spent praying and meditating on His Word. The more familiar we are with His presence, the more faith, courage, and boldness we will have to live the Christian life. Let us make every effort to set His feet, for there is no substitute for communing with our Lord.t
